Nope, you are welcome to make your own accommodations wherever you please that is most comfortable and best for you and/or your family. The bride and groom just wanted to provide options, to ease the process for making your lodging arrangements. They’re just happy you would like to join them on their special day.
You already know! Both Saturday and Sunday celebrations will have open bar, being fully paid for by the bride’s parents, the bride and the groom.

Saturday is a completely outdoor celebration (with tents). Sunday has both outdoor (marriage ceremony and cocktail hour) and indoor components. Specifically for Sunday, we will have venue staffing, to ensure we have a fun AND safe wedding, while remaining in good standing with CDC gathering guidelines for the state of CT. Masks will be provided for folks that do not bring their own. We ask that non-vaccinated guests wear a mask at all times (apart from eating and drinking of course) and folks be honest and transparent with the bride an groom regarding any exposure or symptoms, for accurate contact tracing; particularly so that we can continue to protect of our more vulnerable guests that’ll be in attendance.
Bride & Groom will be wearing the traditional color red with gold, for the Indian festivities on Saturday. The wedding party will be wearing burnt orange and gold for Sunday’s ceremony and reception. Guest Guidance: It is polite to avoid wearing all white or all black; specifically for Saturday, the color red is reserved for the bride and groom.
