It seems to hold true that the best relationships, the ones that last, are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flipped somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with... That's kinda how Grace and Nick's love story begins. Grace and Nick have known each other since freshman year of high school at Shore Regional. They remained friends through high school and college, always reuniting in summers and during holidays. Grace moved home after graduating from Michigan State and started working in New York City, while Nick continued his career in personal training. In 2020, COVID19 changed things for the both of them, more than they initially understood. Their friendship grew into something more and Nick wanted to date Grace that first summer, but Grace was worried about ruining their friendship. It wasn't until Nick decided to "move on" that she realized her true feelings for him. Grace and Nick started dating December 24th, 2021 and were engaged the following year, December 23rd, 2022.
