FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 10, 2026.

Question

IMPORTANT! What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45 PM to ensure you are shuttled in time for the ceremony. Our venue is set on a mountain, so guests will be shuttled from the parking area to the ceremony site.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire: Cocktail / Semi-Formal. We encourage guests to dress nicely while keeping things comfortable. Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirts and slacks are perfect; suits or blazers with dress trousers are great. Please no jeans, khakis, polos, or sneakers. This might go without saying: no white. Our ceremony will be outdoors, so we recommend bringing a jacket and sunglasses. To complement our wedding aesthetic, we would love for guests to embrace our wedding colors: light blue, blush pink, soft greens, neutrals, and other light tones. Yes, it's October. No, this is not a fall-colored wedding... :)

Question

Is there a welcome event on Friday?

Answer

Yes! Stop by and say hi! If you are arriving a day early, please join us at Salt Face Mule Brewing Co., located at 450 Weaverville Rd, Asheville, NC 28804, from 7:00pm-9:00pm to grab a drink and dessert. This is a family-friendly establishment and you can bring your puppies as well.

Question

Are kids welcome at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have several little ones present on our big day - your children are our family, too! Disclaimer: Later into the evening will be focused on music and dancing (our DJ has free reign after the sun goes down), which may not be ideal for children. Our venue does have an indoor space available if children need a quiet break during the reception.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors. The reception will be held under a covered pavilion (with fireplaces!) and retractable walls in case of cooler weather.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, plus-ones are included only if your invitation is addressed with “and Guest.”

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

North Carolina's weather in October is usually mild. However, the reception space is just steps away from the ceremony area and has retractable walls, including the ceiling. If needed, we can move the ceremony to the reception area.... but we won't need that... it'll be sunny and 72 degrees... right?

Question

Will there be shuttles at the end of the night?

Answer

We received feedback from many guests stating that they will be renting Airbnbs, VRBOs, or similar for their stay, which we highly recommend! Because of this, we will not offer shuttle services at the end of the night, as we do not have a hotel block available. Our DJ will make an announcement at the end of the night when Ubers and Lyfts should be called. You can also schedule this ahead of time through the app. You are able to leave your vehicle at the venue, as long as you can pick it up by 11 AM the next morning (Sunday, October 11th).
