How We Met

It all started with girls night.... Megan's story: Krissy (Bethany's cousin) was hosting girls night at her house and I had just come home from college. It was about that time of girls night where everyone was starting to get a bit drunk, are yelling over one another, and someone ends up crying. This is also the time when I lose interest. Krissy then tells me that I would be PERFECT for her cousin. She tries to call her and invite her over but she was in California at the time visiting Maggie (in the wedding woo). She gives Bethany my number and harasses her the next day to make sure that she has contacted me. Bethany then does contact me and we end up meeting for the first time after I come home from Preakness (very intoxicated). I must not have scared her too much because she invited me on our first date to the Orioles game where we hit it off. We decided to make it official when we attended the Thomas Rhett concert at Power Plant inside of Lucky's (also, very intoxicated). Fast forward 3 years, when Bethany gave me the most perfect proposal at the exact place that we met with everyone that we love. Bethany's story: When we met, something big happened, it was one of those moment's in life I knew I wanted to remember. The first time I spoke with Megan I knew that this girl had everything I ever wanted. She was kind and sweet and oh so funny. She was absolutely perfect in every single way for me. I knew quickly that I would always want this incredible person in my life. Over the years, we have had some of the craziest nights of my life. Filled with fun, excitement, and way too much alcohol... (I finally met my match! ) Thankful for my cousin, Krissy for uttering those fateful words, "I have a girl that is perfect for you" and she couldn't have been more right. After a few amazing dates, we made it official (pretty tipsy) right outside of Lucky's Tavern. Three years later, we got engaged in the exact same spot, taking these two off the market for good.
