Meet us in the mountains!

Mat and I met in the summer of 2013 in Morgan Hill and have pretty much been inseparable since. Mat moved in about a year or so after and we had so much fun hosting Halloween parties, sushi nights, Ugly Christmas Sweater contests, and football Sundays. We moved to Morgan Hill in 2016 and love being together in our perfect little house. Whether we're hosting dinner (aka Mat smokes meat), gardening and watching the deer, planning a great Christmas Eve party, or just hanging out with our friends and family, Mat and I love the life we live together.

Mat and I went to Sonoma County for the weekend to celebrate my sister Leah's graduation from Sonoma State with my family. We love staying at Oma's timeshare in Windsor and they conveniently opened a second location for Russian River Brewery right down the street. It was a wet and rainy weekend but we decided to go grab some drinks at the brewery before the graduation. At the brewery, Mat tried to get me to go outside and "look at the beautiful new view" but it was raining and I said no! We had our drinks and Mat, my best friend Jessica, and I headed to the parking lot to leave. Jessica ran ahead and Mat started to get very mushy, putting his arm around me and talking about the future. I had no idea what was happening and the next thing I knew, he pulled out a beautiful ring and asked me to marry him! After coming out of shock, I finally said "Yes!". We shared the news with our family and friends and here we are! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in the mountains!
