FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We ask that guests arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time to be seated and ensure a timely start to the celebration.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We want our guests to be comfortable and enjoying our celebration, not stressing about their outfit. The venue and decor will lean towards the more formal side, but a tux or ball gown is not required. Any attire ranging from cocktail to formal will be perfectly appropriate.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. If a "plus one" has been extended, you will see "and guest" on your invitation. While we would love to allow additional guests, we will only be able to accommodate those named on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We would like our wedding to be an adults only celebration. While we love all of the children in our lives, we'd like our night to be one for parents to let loose and dance the night away!

Question

What hotels are in the area?

Answer

We have set up a room block at the D. Hotel and Suites. It is a short drive to the venue and a free shuttle will be provided throughout the night of our wedding for hotel guests to get to and from the venue. Please see the "Travel" tab for additional details.

Question

How do I use the shuttle?

Answer

For hotel guests at the D. Hotel, there will be a shuttle provided from the hotel to the venue and back. There will be two shuttle times to the venue. Shuttle 1 will depart from the hotel at 3pm and Shuttle 2 will depart from the hotel at 3:30pm. After 3:30pm there will be no further shuttle service to the venue. In order to secure your seat on the shuttle please see the front desk staff at the hotel. If you are checking in to the hotel on Saturday, you may not be able to get into your room before the shuttle leaves, but you will still be able to use the shuttle with your reservation, and your room will be held. Return trips will start at 9:30pm and will continue until every guest has returned to the hotel after our wedding ends at 10:30pm.

Question

What happens if there is a snow storm?

Answer

While we hope to have the perfect day, January in New England runs the risk of some severe winter weather. Our venue lives by the mantra "the show must go on!" Unless a state of emergency is declared in Massachusetts, our venue will stay open, so we plan to celebrate with those that are comfortable/capable of traveling. We will do our best to communicate with you if that worst case weather scenario arises.
