Although Lisa and I first met as soccer opponents, years later we were formally introduced via a mutual friend (thanks Tay!). Since then we have not only connected over shared experiences but have experienced so much together. From travelling together, to working together, to always crushing a theme- there’s no one else I’d rather go bald with than Mr.Worldwide! I am so thankful for our friendship that feels more like family. XOX
Dylan Brough

From finding love with each other in a heartless place (Gagetown) to moving out west together, my time with Dylan has evolved in many ways and makes me very grateful to have met him. We share many similarities (hair style, truck, dog, leg size) which might trip some people’s gaydars. Only time will tell if this wedding is to celebrate Steph and I’s love or if it is just a charade to mask our same sex relationship.
Tori Berk

Who would’ve thought that my fellow Class of Dreams alumni would become the sister I never had (but always wanted). I can always rely on Tori for knowing a lot about most things, sharing a nice bottle of red, and for collaborating on impromptu songs in the kitchen. She has brought so much light into our family and I couldn’t have asked for a better sister-in-law! XOX

To my one and only brother. His 2023 summer contact in Calgary was key in bringing us closer and I enjoyed spending more time with my brother than ever before. He really embraced the cowboy culture leading me to believe that he would be back soon. I’m hopeful to see more of him, Katie, and Liam as time goes on. It’s great to have the family reunited, and wish to see more of this as we get older.

To the one who got me through our trauma-bonding experience of the CAO and introduced me to F45, Rach has had a huge impact on my latest decade. It’s not often that you meet friends later in life whose interests and lifestyle align on nearly every level. Rachel continues to show me the balance of working hard and playing hard, and I’m so grateful to have such a supportive girlie in my life. XOX

I first met Lukas where I met Dylan but sparks didn’t start flying until a few years later when we became roommates in Quebec City. Lukas was a perfect roommate and definitely didn’t break my most prized vintage NHL Coca-Cola glass which I’m totally not still mad about. I missed our outdoor parking lot disco sessions to grab some fresh air and am pumped that we are reunited in Calgary to continue the tradition.
Lindsay Walker

To one of my oldest friends, Lindsay has been a sweet, level-headed confidant for me over the last 19 years. I can always count on Linds for fashion advice and wild adventures. From learning how to drink (and maybe still learning), to traveling through Italy, and shared birthday parties, I am so appreciative of her loyalty. Despite not living in the same city since high-school, our relationship has never changed but thankfully her music taste has. Cheers to many more decades of country music & ranch waters. XOX

I met Dany in my second last year of High School after moving to Quebec from Ontario. Dany was the first to console me on the ice after the opposing teams were rude to me leading to a beautiful goalie-defenceman relationship. I owe my Most Improved Player trophy to Dany for his unwavering emotional support.
Mack Cook

Asking Mr. Cook to officiate our wedding was an unanimous decision. Mack is always down for anything, due to his fun and outgoing character (and definitely not because his “full time” job duties are accommodating). He is a great friend, dog-dad, fiancé and Cornell’s finest Brew Master. GO BIG RED!
