Our story began long before we ever expected it to. Katie first noticed Josh while working at Double Quick, she and her best friend would always joke about how lush his hair was. Life had a plan, though, because not long after, Ben (who is now our officiant) offered Katie a job at Joey’s. Even then, we didn’t become friends right away. It took almost a year of working together before we really connected. Shawn gave us that gentle push we didn’t know we needed, and looking back, it’s clear that both he and Ben played a huge part in bringing us together. What started as simple work acquaintances slowly turned into something real. We became friends, then more than friends… and now, we’re engaged. From evenings at the apartments to building a home of our own, we’ve spent years loving, supporting, and growing with each other. Every step has brought us closer to the life we’re creating together, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
