2019: David had decided to try online dating, but he wanted to see if anyone piqued his interest before committing. Match.com was first, and he was instantly drawn to the profile of a cute girl in a red hat from Rogers. After reading a little about her, he decided that if she was the only girl from the site that he got a date with, the subscription would be worth it! Little did he know, Jenna had just given up on online dating, and so he was disappointed when he didn't get a response to his initial message. Fortunately, through divine intervention, a deal came through that Jenna just couldn't pass up and she reactivated her profile. After finally connecting and a few emails back and forth with some pretty cheesy online flirting, a first date was set for April 17th. Jenna was immediately impressed when David got up from the table to meet her at the door and David spent most of the meal wondering how he got such a beautiful and easy-going girl to agree to a date with him. They both left the evening feeling excited about what the future could hold. Note - David did an EXCELLENT job of hiding the fact that a couple of his mischievous friends decided to watch the date from the bar! Several dates and a few months later they were official! Fast forward many months, a few trips, some quality quarantine time, and the two decided they were each other's forever! On the way home from a trip to the North Shore, they stopped at the Munsinger Flower Gardens in St. Cloud. After reading Jenna a list of all of the things he loves about her, David got down on a knee and proposed. He barely got the words out before Jenna exclaimed "YES!" and grabbed the ring from him (he would have preferred to put it on her himself, but didn't mind because she was so excited). Since the beginning of their relationship, they have continually been amazed at how close their circles ran together without ever overlapping - they will always be grateful for the "Match" that finally pushed them together.
