Just to sum it up, because Maggie just loves telling everyone about our story. Maggie saw Ross in 8th grade, FACS class I think? Immediately she fell in love with him (obviously) we started dating on January 31st, 2008. We went on countless dates to the movie theater in Downtown Chaska, double dates - because Maggie was too scared to be alone. We shared so many amazing memories together including our first kiss, incredible to be each others first kiss and last kiss forever! Clearly, we broke up. We both grew throughout high school, when mutual friends started dating and voila, senior year summer the sparks flew again FINALLY. We were on and off the summer of 2012, unsure about long distance with college. Maggie was headed off to Sheboygan WI and Ross was headed off to Thief River Falls MN. We skyped and texted all day and night, and never forgot each other. Maggie decided to transfer to Mankato and that was it. She got in the front seat of his truck a few days before Christmas and said, are we doing this? I need to know if I am getting you a gift or not? Now fast-forward, we have the greatest life together living in Belle Plaine with Colt. Maggie, obsessed with weddings, has always dreamed of their big day and how Ross would pop the question. She was very surprised on 3/31/21 when they went on a walk with Colt back over by where they had their first kiss and she joked "Oh should we re-enact our first kiss" Ross then, shitting his pants with nerves already slowed down and said "...Or we could make a new memory" he got down on one knee and pulled the ring out and said "Will you Marry Me?" The rest is soon to be history. Through the thick and thin, we have been there for one another. We can't imagine our lives without the other person in it. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you on our best memory yet!
