It’s finally happening!

Just about 9 years ago we met. I shared a locker with a friend senior year of high school and every morning we would meet up. There was always a group of guys sitting against the window across from our locker but we never paid any attention to them. After a lacrosse game one day, I logged onto Facebook (like every other high school girl did the second they got home) and had a notification someone messaged me; someone named Pat Bentley who hadn’t updated their profile picture since freshman year. I never responded to messages from random people I didn’t know but for whatever reason, I answered him and the rest is history. We found out we had a lot of friends in common. In fact, my best friend at the time was best friends with him too! We went to the same block parties, birthday parties, Sweet Sixteens but we never crossed paths. Our offical first date was hanging out on the beach in Port Jeff and, 8 years later, where we got engaged.
