FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors in the countryside, including a ceremony in a field and a backyard reception. Mid-September weather can vary, so we recommend semi-formal attire with practical shoes. Block heels, wedges, boots, or flats are highly encouraged, stilettos and cow fields are not friends.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Since we’re out in the country, the closest hotels are about 30 minutes away. We won’t be booking hotel blocks, but there are tons of great Airbnbs, charming bed & breakfasts, and rental homes nearby that we highly recommend for a cozy weekend getaway. We suggest booking early, especially for a fall weekend!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outside?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be primarily outdoors, so please dress comfortably for the weather and terrain.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available on-site. Please follow signage when you arrive.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP attend the wedding. If your children or a guest are included on your RSVP, we would absolutely love to celebrate with them! If they are not listed, we ask that you please respect our guest list and celebration plans. Thank you for understanding! If there are any questions, please contact the groom or the bride!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar with two bartenders serving for most of the evening, along with plenty of non-alcoholic options as well. Please celebrate responsibly and plan ahead for a safe ride home if needed.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We have a backup plan ready, rain or shine. Either way, we’re getting married!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at handhbenefield@gmail.com

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
