Is the resort all inclusive?

Yes! Sandos Caracol Eco Resort is all inclusive! Which means food, alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks are included!

Why is the resort called Sandos Caracol Eco Resort?

Answer

Sandos Caracol is an eco friendly resort in the middle of the jungle! This means the resort cares about natural surroundings and local wildlife. Be prepared to see monkeys walking around the resort and coming up to you to say hi! The resort has a water hole, also called a "cenote, " where you can swim in, or just take some breathtaking pictures! The resort offers all inclusive activities such as romantic boat rides, kayaking, bike tours, and live Mayan shows! Get ready because adventure awaits!

Where is Playa Del Carmen?

Playa Del Carmen is located about 30 minutes, south of Cancun. There is plenty to do around Playa Del Carmen, including several night clubs, museums, excursions and restaurants. Best of all, we are just steps away from the beautiful beach!

Should I book through Destination Weddings or another agency?

Answer

We set up with Destination Weddings to find an all inclusive resort that offers low rates and made it easier to book. However, the choice is yours! We encourage you to find a deal that is best suited for you and your budget.

Can we still come to the wedding if we stay at another resort?

Answer

Yes, of course! However, you will have to pay a fee of $100 USD to have access to Sandos Caracol Eco Resort for 24 hours. This is a policy of the resort, since they are all inclusive. The $100 wristband gives you access to all of their activities, pools, restaurants and bars.

Is the resort family friendly?

Yes! The resort has a family friendly section and a waterpark for the children!

Is there an adults only section?

Answer

Yes there is! If you are not traveling with children, we recommend that you make your reservation at the adults only section, so you can have access to the adults only pool and area.

What should I wear the day of the wedding?

Answer

Beach Attire: Wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, loafers, flats, wedged heels or sandals. We recommend the ladies wear comfy shoes during our ceremony, since it will be on the beach. Our reception is at the rooftop terrace, away from the sand.
