We recommend flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). From there we recommend renting a car or utilizing Uber/Lyft. Austin is a very car-centric city with minimal public transportation. If you choose to stay downtown there will be tons of food and sites within walking distance or a short ride. The wedding venue is very close to downtown and the other weekend events are within a 20 minute ride. Please feel free to stay where is convenient and aggregable to you. A block of rooms has been reserved at the following hotels for September 8th through 11th. The first two hotels are located downtown, the third 15 minutes south. Please make your reservations by August 1st and reference "Hansen & Frank Wedding Block". Its best to book sooner than later as the hotels reserve the right to change rates at any time. If you are looking to stay elsewhere, perhaps to use up some points or have a favorite brand; we recommend staying somewhere within the boundary shown on this map.
