We met at Burp Castle, a "monastery-themed" bar in the East Village that's wrapped in biblical tableaus of ships and angels. Our drinks were wonderful, but we realized rather quickly that there was a problem... We were too excited to meet each other, and the Burp Castle requires that patrons speak in hushed tones, in order to maintain its serenity. We were shushed a handful of times before we agreed that it was time to move on and head somewhere else. That night, we walked down St. Marks Place to Barcade and played pinball, Frogger, a Simpsons-themed beat 'em up, and Jambo Safari. Since then, we've traveled a lot further. Whether it's New York, Indiana, Massachusetts, or Florida, each new place and friend and loved one has meant the world to us on our journey. As we celebrate this new stage, we hope you'll join us to celebrate the steps to come. Maya & André
