It all started in 2007 in the halls of Syosset High School. Although the label of boyfriend and girlfriend only lasted 3 months, their friendship didn’t. Sammi and Ryan continued to be close friends, constantly texting and talking on iChat (and maybe one random hookup after Sammi showed up to Ryan’s high school house party uninvited). Ryan would drive Sammi home from school and pick her up from class when she was in a wheelchair (only to then push Sammi and the wheelchair down a steep ramp and let go). When Sammi transferred to the University of Buffalo their relationship really picked up again. Sammi found herself at a party in Ryan’s Buffalo house basement and things started again exactly where they left off. Fast forward 8 years, multiple jobs, apartments, a pandemic, and one big silly pooch, Sammi and Ryan are getting married!
