This is a formal event. A suit, collared shirt & dress pants, or cocktail/tea length dress are all great!

Where is the venue located?

Answer

Bridgeport Art Center is located almost exactly in the middle of Chicago in the Bridgeport neighborhood. It is about a 15-minute drive from the downtown Loop. There are TWO different wedding venues located within Bridgeport Art Center -- we will be in the Skyline Loft, which is fully indoors.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

O'Hare is the largest airport and likely will offer the most options for arrival and departure times; however, it is located at the northernmost point of the city and traffic can be heavy both to and from the airport if you are not staying immediately in that area. If you can, we would recommend finding lodgings more in the center/western part of the city and flying into Midway airport, which is located on the West side of the city and is much easier to get to and from.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! There is a large parking lot at Bridgeport Art Center, where both the ceremony and reception will be held.
