We love taking a bike ride down to Harbour Town, checking out the shops, and watching all of the boats on the water. You can also climb the 114 steps of the iconic red-and-white-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse to get a birds-eyed view of the South Carolina low-country. There is an awesome playground (and plenty of ice cream shops!) for the kids, too! We will be saying our vows on Sunday at the 18th hole of the Sea Pines course, which is on the edge of Harbour Town with the lighthouse in view!
The South Beach Marina is home to the infamous Salty Dog Cafe and another favorite to walk around, check out some shops, grab a bite to eat or some ice cream!
Most houses and hotels within the Sea Pines Resort are within walking or biking distance from a beach, so you should definitely enjoy some sun while you are here! The Sea Pines Beach Club and Tower Beach Club are great options for beach access if you need to park a car. Make sure to check out the tide schedule and capitalize on the beach during low tide!
Sea Pines has the best bike paths on the island through lots of shaded trees and breathtaking scenery. You might even spot a gator! There are tons of bike rental options and most will have them waiting for you at your rental if you schedule it ahead of time!
For the golf enthusiasts, the Harbour Town Golf Links course is home to the Heritage Classic PGA tournament.
