Shannon and Tim’s love story is a modern day romance – starting online, and quickly heating up until they did what two millennials who know they want to spend the rest of their lives together do – they got a dog. It all began when they both took a chance and downloaded a dating app to their respective phones. After months of swiping left and despite their initial pessimism about finding true love based on a collection of selfies and witty one-liners, Shannon and Tim swiped right…and the rest, as they say, is history. ♥ May 7, 2017 – After a perfect first date that involved a very competitive game of mini golf, playful banter, and the best conversation that neither of them wanted to end, Shannon and Tim made it official. Fun Fact: In addition to their shared love of the NJ Devils, Disney World, pickleball, and restaurant outings, Tim and Shannon also share a similar start to life. They were both adopted from the same adoption agency with the same case worker from the same place, South Korea. ♥ October 27, 2018 – Charlie joined the Rohan-Battillo fam! After scrolling through a local shelter’s adoption website, Shannon and Tim found love online again, welcoming the cutest and most perfect pup home. ♥ September 17, 2020 – As natural homebodies, Shannon and Tim realized it was time to find a bigger place with plenty of room for Charlie’s toys. They found the perfect spot and moved into their first place together! ♥ January 24, 2023 – Engaged! Shannon and Tim shed some happy tears, put on their Devils jerseys, and shared the joy with their families at their favorite place (and the home of the New Jersey Devils), the Prudential Center. ♥ Upcoming: November 9, 2024 – Time to get married!!! Festivities will include a party bus with either a Devils game OR a tattoo shop visit – who needs a boring wedding favor when you could just get a tattoo, right? Stay tuned…
