FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best cocktail/formal attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please reach out with any questions.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 20, using the RSVP tab in the menu. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

What do I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan according.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has free on-site parking. We encourage guests to carpool or Uber/Lyft from the hotels if you are planning to stay the night.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. Don't forget to share them with us or post them to social media using hashtag #TheBatesDayEver!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour on the back patio. However, both may be moved indoors, pending weather. The reception will be indoors.
