Paige & Daniel met in 2020 in Knoxville, TN at their favorite Vietnamese restaurant. It was too good to be true. Their flavor profile was *chef’s kiss* delicious and their servings were abundant – maybe too abundant. (And maybe that’s why it’s no longer around? R.I.P., Viet Taste. It was too good to be true…) Or maybe, just maybe the restaurant realized it had done its duty in life and allowed Daniel & Paige to meet? The couple were sad to see a permanent “Closed” sign after about a year, but more importantly, it opened up the possibility of a future for them together. After all, according to them, their being together is the better encapsulation of “too good to be true.” Daniel lived the majority of his life on the East Coast in Virginia and Maryland. Paige grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. Both were in school in East Tennessee when they met, often bonding over good food and playing tennis. Paige learned to cook Daniel’s favorite Filipino meals, added Southern flair, and wanted to make sure he was happy. After a few years, in 2023, the two decided to move to Nashville. Paige missed her city and wanted to be closer to family. Daniel was drawn to Nashville hot chicken, had a well-timed job opportunity, and wanted to make sure Paige was happy. They felt Nashville was the right place at this time of their lives. And it really was the right place at the right time, because their former home in Knoxville was destroyed by a tornado a month later. What are the chances? Last year, Daniel proposed to Paige on a perfectly cool September morning on a picturesque Paris bridge with the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop. Paige unsuccessfully fought back tears, and a year of planning the surprise proposal culminated into a resounding “yes.” When life gifts you love so real that you yearn for it eternally, one must ask, “what are the chances?” It was chance that they found each other’s comfort and compassion at a time of lockdowns and isolation. But it was a choice – albeit effortless – to stay each other’s best friend and promise to continue providing for one another. Now it’s your chance to be a part of the next phase of their already blossoming relationship. Would you kindly choose to join them on their wedding day? Now that would be too good to be true!
