In the balmy summer of 2018, fate wove its magic as Andrew and Rachel crossed paths amidst the hustle and bustle of Vans. Fresh to Minnesota, Rachel quickly found a friend in Andrew amidst the sneaker shelves and screaming customers. Fast forward through a whirlwind of two years, with Andrew's Texas escapade and return, their bond deepened over a Twilight marathon at, Rachel's best friend, Anna's apartment and late night drives in Andrew's trusty '02 Hyundai Sonata. From the sizzling debut of McDonald's spicy McNuggets to a tad too many Taco Bell indulgences, their love story unfolded against the backdrop of Love Island UK marathons. With each passing moment, it became glaringly obvious – they were falling head over heels for each other. So, without much ado, on August 15, 2020, to the surprise of no one at Vans, they officially became a couple. As Taylor would say, there must have been an invisible string tying them together. Now, onto the proposal – Andrew had a grand plan up his sleeve, but Rachel's impatience had other ideas. Andrew popped the question at one of their favorite places in Minneapolis, the Stone Arch Bridge, on Rachel's favorite holiday, Valentine's Day (hence the color scheme of the wedding). Let's not forget their beloved children: Bubba, the oldest and most sensitive boy; Siannise Noreen, who runs the home as if she’s the one paying the rent; and their sweet pup, Rava, named after their favorite show, Succession (seriously, you should watch it).
