To our incredible wedding guests: Thank you for your unwavering support and patience as we have been navigating through wedding decisions as a result of COVID-19. We are so incredibly thankful for how so many have lifted us up in prayer and richly blessed us with tangible - and intangible - gifts. After much thought, prayer and seeking wise counsel: we are canceling our wedding on May 1, 2020 and will have an intimate family ceremony. Once the COVID-19 pandemic settles, we will decide the best way to celebrate our marriage with those we love so dearly. Thank you for your understanding and kindness during this time. We love you! Cody and Amber
To all of our wedding guests: we are actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and will be making a decision as to how to proceed with our wedding plans in the next two weeks. Thank you for your patience - we are all in this together and we are praying for the health and safety of every one of our guests and their families. Love, Cody and Amber
Cody and Amber met at camp in the summer of 2005. Her cousin, Courtney, introduced them and they were each others’ banquet dates on the last night of camp. Their friendship grew throughout their teenage years and life eventually grew them apart as young adults. In October 2018, Amber had a dream with Cody in it and reached out to him the following day to see how he was doing. Their relationship took off from there and they started “officially” dating when he came home for Christmas from the U.S. Navy in 2018. They were engaged on October 5, 2019 and as they say...the rest is history!
