Honeymoon
11 flights, 10 trains, and 2 ferries later
After our small (but perfect) backyard wedding in May, we left for our 12-week honeymoon vacation a week later. We had the opportunity to travel to 6 countries & 10 cities.
Our trip began in Valencia where we spent most of our days exploring the city, eating Paella, & lounging by the beach. From here, we visited Madrid where we saw The Royal Palace.
4 weeks later, we set off for Rome. We experienced all of the histories that the city had to offer including The Colosseum, Roman Forum, & The Pantheon. We ate our weight in pasta & pizza but made up for it in our daily steps. To escape the city we took a train to Naples followed by a ferry to Capri.
Lastly, we made our way to Athens where we spent our last 4 weeks. To our surprise, Greece had some of the best food we ate the entire trip and we enjoyed far too many gyros. We love the water so we decided to end our trip on the Greek island, Crete.
We are so grateful for this experience.
