Some love stories begin with a grand gesture, others with a twist of fate. Ours was always meant to be—it just took a little time to find its moment. We walked the same high school hallways, even had the same gym class, yet never exchanged a word. The universe, however, had other plans. Years later, on a warm summer night in 2016 at the state fair, a mutual friend introduced us, and just like that, the stars aligned. That summer felt like a daydream—endless laughter, long conversations, and an effortless connection. By the time he asked me to be his girlfriend (after a post-party heart-to-heart at Rutgers—don’t worry, a proper date followed!), it was already clear: this was forever. Over the past ten years, we’ve grown together through life’s biggest moments—graduations, new careers, moving into our first home, getting a dog—always side by side. Through it all, we’ve never stopped laughing, dreaming, and believing in the magic of us. Now, a decade later in 2026, we’re ready for our greatest adventure yet: saying “I do” in Portugal, a place we love. We can’t wait to dance under the stars, celebrate, and start forever—together.
