We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you!

Nicole was sitting at the medics station on base visiting with good friends when all of a sudden some random fireman walked in. He cracked a joke, everyone laughed then he sat down next to Nicole and just started talking. Conversations just happened between the two of them. They could talk for hours at a time after working twelve hour shifts together. Never running out of topics to discuss. A friendship blossomed, Sean became Nicole's person. Nicole being a single-mom for 5 years was goofy and awkward to say the least and Sean rolled with it.

A year after their friendship started they decided to take the next and see if there could be something more. They had such a foundation of friendship that dating just felt natural. Their first date was at the Miller Grill in Yukon followed by Ladder 49 (Sean is a fireman after all). Fast forward 6 months to a road trip ending in Garfield, AR at Shirley's Cabin. On Sept 17, 2017 with Sean, Nicole, Noah, and Colton when the sun is just starting to peak over the mountains. Sean woke Nicole asking to go watch the sunrise in one of Nicole's favorite, most peaceful spots. Nicole never stopped talking about this beautiful place through their friendship so Sean knew it was a special place to her for a very special moment.

Standing on the shore of Beaver Lake watching the sunrise and listening to the boats hum by, Nicole was still trying to wake up making it easy for her to not notice how nervous Sean was. After taking a few photos of the absolutely beautiful sunrise that morning Sean turned to Nicole. Sean stated that he had found a quote that he wanted to read aloud because Nicole loves qoutes of any kind. Not quite realizing what was happening Nicole listened, continued to stretch, and watch the boats glide across the waters. Around the third sentence is dawned on Nicole that this was no regular quote. Rambling something out shock Nicole couldn't believe what was happening, it was a complete surprise on Sean's part. Sean asked ever so sweetly at the end of his qoute if Nicole would allow him the honor of getting to be Colton's dad and then if she would grant him the honor of marrying him! Nicole obviously said YES, a million times!!! Now we can't wait to celebrate our special day with all of you!!!
