Most know Will is an adrenaline junkie and loves to run with the fire department and work on the ambulance. Well, that’s how we met! When we met, I was one of his dispatchers. I was at the fire house one day when they was having a vendors event and was talking to one of the other firefighter and they introduced Will and I- thanks CT. Later that day I got a friend request, he never messaged me until a few months later. Then he just wanted to order a sign that I had make for a few other members in the fire department. A few weeks pasted and I saw him at the fair and I told him his sign was almost done, that was Wednesday . Saturday of fair came around and we “bumped” into each other a few times that day- I think he did it on purpose,but he won’t admit it. The messages started that night. Our first date was driving around and talking getting to know each other, he started doing McDonald nugget deliveries to the 911 center to me when I was on nights and offering to help me study for my EMT class. I knew he was special then, but I knew he was the one after I saw the way he was with Branson. I had worked a night shift and needed to go to Keyser to get fingerprinted for EMT class, he offered to drive me and keep Branson while I went in. I came out my appointment to find them snuggled up watching fire truck videos in the front seat, that short trip to Keyser turned into a full day. He took Branson to the park and played for hours and then took us dinner. After that day I had no doubt in my mind that Branson and I had found our person. Few months pasted and he spent the night and never left afterwards. Some say it happened to fast, we say when you know you know. We spent our first Christmas together and celebrated the new year and then Will decided he was staying forever and ask me marry him. It was the easiest yes in my whole life- even if it was 1:30 in the morning. Yup, you read that right he ask me at 1:30 in the morning on a random Thursday. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Now here we are putting the final touches on our wedding. Our story will always be my favorite and I can’t wait to finish writing it and see where life takes us.
