Me and Asia met in 2010 when our parents had started dating. When my mom told me the man she's dating had a daughter my age I was so eager to meet her. From the first day we met we instantly had a very close bond. Our friendship had grown overnight and as we got older we got closer. I became very protective and proud to call her my sister. I’m so happy Matt came & swept my sister off her feet, giving her the love she deserves. I never seen her smile as much as she does with Matt! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them!

Jaisa and Asia’s friendship began as the new girls in middle school. Almost 20 years later, they are still full of laughter and fun together. Whether it’s a birthday trip or a wedding, these two never miss an occasion to celebrate each other. They are notorious for bringing out the best in each other in a function, and Cabo will be one to remember. See you there!
Bridesmaid
Asia and I have been inseparable since 7th grade. We clicked instantly, never missing a beat even when we went to different colleges. Every time we came home, we made memories and that carried into adulthood of endless laughs. I got to be part of her engagement—she thought she was presenting me with an award, but sis was really being proposed to! Easily one of my favorite moments. We’ve cried, turned up, prayed, traveled, and grown together. She’s my safe space, my sister, and now our families are one. I’m beyond honored to stand by her on her big day.

Renesha Johnson and Asia met back in 7th grade at Stephenson, and she’s been one of my best friends, my travel partner, and my sister ever since. We’ve seen each other through so many different seasons from middle school days to college and now navigating adulthood. We’ve traveled the world together and knowing Asia, of course she would choose to get married in Cabo. I am so excited and grateful to witness this union between Asia and Matt. The love they share is real and has been intentional from the beginning. I can’t wait to celebrate them.

DeJah and Asia met in 2011 at Georgia State University and instantly bonding over their shared love of communication. When DeJah joined the Army, Asia stayed constant—writing letters and sending care packages. Upon DeJah return to Georgia they picked up right where they left off and have been inseparable ever since. Through moves, tough seasons, and everything in between, their connection has only grown stronger. DeJah is thrilled Asia has found forever in Matt, and honored to stand by her side for this beautiful milestone.

Asia and I met through a mutual friend in 2018 and grew close the following year. By the time the pandemic hit, we were inseparable, discovering just how naturally our bond had formed. We still talk every week, sharing life, laughs, and everything in between. In 2020, I helped Matt plan a surprise birthday dinner for Asia, and it showed me how thoughtfully and intentionally he loves her. I’m so excited to watch them continue building this next chapter together.

Best Man
Me and Matt are both from Rome but we didn’t really know each other until we went to college. I joined the Army and we ended up in the same unit and deployed to Afghanistan together in 2010. When we came back were roommates in college and also later as adults. We always push each other to be better. Matt my closest friend and I probably know more about him than anybody. Good and bad
Groomsman
I first met Matt back in 2010 at JSU, but we didn’t truly connect until he moved to Atlanta a few years later through mutual friends from Rome, GA. From there the friendship took off. He became part of our circle naturally, and we’ve been solid ever since—going on nearly a decade strong. He’s always been one of the most genuine and loyal ppl I’ve known.

I met Mathew through Asia and quickly realized he wasn’t just a great partner for her, but a great addition to the family. What stood out most was Mathew’s genuine care for those around him and the way his love and support for Asia is truly unmatched. Whether sharing conversations, family gatherings, or laughs, I now considers Mathew not just my sister’s fiancé, but a true brother. What I wish for them both are to cherish the moments, take the time, and to continue to invest in each others happiness. I am truly honored to be a bystander in their journey together.

Matt is my brother from another. Words really don’t do justice to bond we created over the years. Matt is a leader of men and a follower of Christ. He was there for me in my darkest of times and never wavered from me. Not only my best friend but he’s my go to when I need advice. We attended Jacksonville State University together and also were in ROTC. together as well. I’m very proud of the man he became and I wish him and beautiful bride nothing success and blessings. God Bless. Roll Damn Tide!

Kayode and Matt met in 2020 through Asia, who insisted during a New Orleans trip that Kayode had to meet her boyfriend because they were practically the same person. She wasn’t wrong. They finally connected in Dallas, and the friendship clicked instantly. From the start, Matt has been selfless, grounded, and genuinely good. His love for Asia, his loyalty, and his quiet strength show the kind of man and leader he is. He’s a true friend and brother, and Kayode is honored to stand beside him today.
