Is there transportation from the hotel to the ceremony?

Bus transportation will be provided to guests from the Embassy Suites to the ceremony. bus times: coming soon

Will all guests be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

While we strongly encourage COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots, we expect a small portion of our guests to be unvaccinated.

Is there parking at the venue?

Parking at the Philander Chase Knox Estate is valet only.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi formal attire (cocktail dresses, dress pants, button down shirts, etc). The ceremony will be outside, so wear flats or shoes with a thicker heel or wedge. April weather can be unpredictable, and we recommend bringing a light jacket to stay warm. Men should wear a blazer or suit coat.

Is smoking allowed at the hotel or the venue?

Both Valley Forge National Historical Park and & Embassy Suites are smoke-free.

What are the food choices?

Answer

Chicken: Chicken breast brushed with olive oil and fresh garlic, topped with sliced prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and basil Beef: Filet mignon with classic béarnaise Vegetarian: Stuffed portobello mushroom with chickpeas, spinach, roasted garlic, tomato, and grilled squash on a bed of tomato sauce. Can be made vegan.
