Bride
Emma Lynch – Bride Emma is an incredible woman with a heart full of kindness, warmth, and compassion. Her ability to make everyone feel seen and cared for is truly a gift. She has a contagious love for life, and it’s clear to anyone who meets her that she brings light to every room she enters. Whether she’s tending to our animals—Darwin the tortoise, the chickens, or our two dogs, Mavis and Lily—or simply being there for the people she loves, her nurturing spirit shines through in everything she does. She’s not only beautiful inside and out, but she also has an extraordinary way of making those around her better just by being herself. Her sense of humor, loving nature, and unwavering support make me feel incredibly fortunate to have her by my side. I am endlessly grateful for everything she is and all the love she gives. I truly can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
Groom
Meet Calvin, my best friend, my Prince Charming, and the love of my life. He treats me like a princess every single day, and I am beyond grateful for the love, kindness, support, friendship, and patience he brings into my life. I fell in love with him not only because of his incredible patience with me but also because of the kindness he shows to everyone. He’s truly changed me for the better, and his unwavering dedication to me and our future together has made all the difference. We met on Tinder when he swiped up to ask if my Thestral tattoo was, indeed, a Thestral. Of course, I said yes, and from there, we instantly bonded over our shared love of Harry Potter. During our time in San Diego, we had Universal Studios passes and spent nearly every weekend in LA. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that while we are so alike in so many ways, we are also beautifully different—perfectly complementing each other. Our shared passion for dogs (and healthy dog food!) was one of the first things that connected us, and he’s been my biggest supporter in everything I do, no matter how wild my ideas might be. I’m so excited to marry him and begin this next chapter of our lives. Calvin, I can’t wait to start this journey with you. We are forever!
Best Man
Gage Trujillo – Best Man Gage and I have known each other since sophomore year of high school. Our bond was formed over our shared passion for powerlifting, and we spent countless hours pushing each other to reach new milestones. We even had our own friendly competitions, always challenging one another to be the best we could be. One of the funniest memories I have with Gage was during Coach Aston’s class, where we actually got along really well. The issue was with the teacher and I, who didn’t exactly see eye to eye. I’d often find myself sent out of class for not putting up with his nonsense, but it was just one of those moments that made our friendship even stronger. Through the years, Gage has been my rock, always encouraging me to push beyond my limits. He’s been like a brother to me, constantly helping me become the best version of myself. His dedication to his goals is unwavering—whether it’s hitting the gym to reach the next milestone, serving as a police officer, or fulfilling his role as an Army reservist. Gage is driven, hardworking, and deeply committed to helping others, which is why he’s always been such an incredible friend. I’m extremely grateful to have him in my life, and I chose him to be my best man because of his honesty, reliability, and unwavering support. He’s one of the closest friends I’ve ever had, and I know I can always count on him.
Maid of Honor
Meet Charlotte, my incredible Maid of Honor and best friend since high school! We first met through mutual friends, but we truly became inseparable when we were seated next to each other in sophomore year history class. Since then, we’ve shared countless memories, laughs, and endless adventures. Calvin and I are both so proud of her as she’s graduating from the University of Hawaii on May 17th—what an amazing milestone! Charlotte is the most outgoing, pure soul I know. She has an amazing knack for finding the best clothes at thrift stores, and it’s something we both bond over. One of my favorite memories with Charlotte takes me back to high school, when she used to sneak into my culinary class just to get her snacks! We’d sit outside on the bench, gossiping and making silly videos—it was girlhood at its height, pure fun and laughter. Charlotte and her mom, Lisa, have always made me feel so loved and supported since the day we met. They’re truly a second family to me. I’m beyond grateful for Charlotte’s friendship, and I’m so excited to have her by my side on this special day!
Bridesmaid
Meet Katherine, my sweet and caring bridesmaid who feels more like a little sister than a friend. We first met through mutual friends at high school formal, and since then, she’s been a constant presence in my life. We love to joke that I’m the “big sister” she never had, and I’m beyond grateful for her warmth, loyalty, and kindness. Despite all the challenges life has thrown her way, she remains genuinely kind, strong, and full of grace. What makes our friendship so special is that no one quite gets me like Katherine does. We grew up in similar ways, and because of that, she makes me feel truly seen—never judged, never alone. She understands the things I don’t always have to say out loud, and that kind of bond is rare and irreplaceable. Katherine graduated from hair school last year and has since started an exciting new salon job in beautiful Malibu, CA. At just 4’11”, she’s the shortest of the group, but her heart and spirit are larger than life. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day, and I can’t wait to celebrate with her!
Bridesmaid
Meet Anna, one of my amazing bridesmaids, who I’m so lucky to have in my life! We met in high school through mutual friends and have stuck together through thick and thin. Anna graduated from hair school in 2023 and now works in gorgeous Carlsbad, CA!! She is such a beautiful and kind person with a heart that’s as pure as gold. Her resilience and strength are truly admirable, and her laughter is absolutely infectious. I feel so blessed to have her in my life, and I can’t wait to have her by my side on this special day! One of my favorite memories with Anna takes me back to my senior year of high school when I was getting ready for prom. I had gotten my nails done a little too far in advance, and by the time prom was approaching, they needed serious help. Anna, being the absolute angel she is, offered to fix them for me. What was supposed to be a simple removal turned into hours of struggle—we could not get these dang nails off! Poor Anna painstakingly poured her heart into it, trying every trick in the book. To this day, I can’t remember what magical combination of nail techniques she used, but somehow, she pulled it off, and I ended up with beautiful nails just in time for prom. And of course, I paid her for her hard work! But more than anything, I got to spend time with my best friend, and that made it all the more special.
Groomsman
Jason and I met during boot camp for the United States Marine Corps and later reconnected in Cnatt. We ended up in the same unit, always supporting each other and picking each other up when one of us fell—both figuratively and literally. One of my favorite memories with him is when we made a piñata out of a flight helmet for the day crew to find in the morning. Jason has been there for me through all the toughest times in the Marine Corps. From the very beginning, we’ve had each other’s backs, and I only wish he had gotten out at the same time I did. But I’m incredibly proud of him for continuing to follow his dreams and becoming a drill instructor. Back in the day, we used to call him “Bubbles” because his big glasses magnified his eyes—though now, thanks to LASIK, that nickname no longer applies. He’s hardworking, funny, and a dedicated gamer in his free time. Even though Jason lives across the country and is constantly busy shaping the next generation of Marines, he will always be a brother to me. No matter how much time passes, we pick up right where we left off, and I know we’ll always be there for each other.
Groomsman
I met Reese during our time in the military, and we became roommates after our deployment to Okinawa. I joke that it was an “unfortunate moment” for him to be stuck with me, but we created countless great memories during that time. From our constant shenanigans in the barracks to hunting flies with salt guns in ITX, we’ve shared some unforgettable experiences. Reese has been there for me throughout the years, always pushing me to be the best I can be, and I’ve done the same for him. I’m incredibly lucky to have had him as both a roommate and a friend. Regardless of where we were in our military careers, we were always able to look past that and grow into great friends. Reese is a big car enthusiast and loves the occasional video game. He’s now a true Texan, a family man, and someone who works hard for everything he has. After getting out of the Marine Corps, he moved to Texas and started a new job, and he’s happy to have left California behind. Although we don’t see each other often anymore, when we do, we pick up right where we left off. I’m extremely happy to see my Marine brother living life to the fullest, and I’m proud to have him by my side on this special day.
