We met in 2009 at a Wheaton Warrenville South football game. Kyle chatted to me most of the evening about his plans to ask another girl out to homecoming and I advised his methods. We proceeded to not really have a crush on each other for the next ten months. Well, I didn't - it took Kyle a few months to move on from his current crush and took me a few more. But, by the spring of 2010, after almost a year of hanging out in downtown Wheaton, playing tennis, and swing dances, we realized we were the coolest people we respectively knew and Kyle was brave enough to ask me out. Way to go, buddy! We made it through junior and senior year of high school, freshman year of college, the rest of college 400 miles apart, two years of Kyle's master's program 1,500 miles apart (upgraded difficulty), and are finally back home together again. Who knows where we'll go next? I essentially started asking Kyle to marry me when we were 18. I was very vocal and very annoying. But Kyle, the always wise and mature one, held out until the end of 2017 before he graduated with his Master's degree and proposed at the park in Downtown Wheaton where he asked me out. We are so excited to be getting married after all these years and excited for all the years to come!
