This is one of our favorite places in Beacon. It's a huge modern art museum with an impressive collection of sculptures and exhibits from notable artists. It is only a few steps away from the Metro-North station, along the Hudson River.
Storm King Art Center
It's a 25-minute drive from Beacon but absolutely worth it. Storm King is a magical outdoor sculpture park nestled in the rolling hills of the Hudson Valley.
Mount Beacon
Mount Beacon is a very popular trail along the Hudson River, and for good reason. It offers a great hiking workout, fantastic views, a recently rebuilt fire tower, and all with incredibly easy access right on the edge town. Follow the link for more information including the trail head location.
