How We Met

The Bachelor

Sometimes, love needs a little push, and for Adrian and Danielle, that push came from Danielle's little sister, Bianca, Adrian’s cousin, Lani, and his aunty Monty. With a mix of playful scheming and gentle nudging, the trio set the stage for what would become an unforgettable love story. After a few well-placed suggestions, Adrian took the leap and added Danielle on Instagram. Their first date was planned for the eve of Danielle’s 25th birthday - a paint and sip night in Surry Hills. The theme? A serene sunset over a calm ocean. The result? Pure chaos. While Danielle followed the prompt, Adrian’s creative genius took a slightly darker turn. His canvas, instead of showcasing a tranquil sunset, featured asteroids and menacing water creatures. Clearly, painting sunsets wasn't quite his thing. Despite Adrian’s unexpected twist on the theme, the night was filled with laughter and connection. By the end of the date, Adrian knew Danielle was someone special. In a moment straight out of a TV romance, he handed her a single red rose, sealing the beginning of their beautifully blissful journey together.

Meet the Matchmakers

2/2 Strike Rate

Every great love story has its behind-the-scenes heroes, and for Adrian and Danielle, those heroes were Lani and her mum (Adrians Aunty), Monty. With a proven track record in the matchmaking department, they had already worked their magic by successfully pairing Adrian’s brother, Antony, with his now-wife, Rita. They’re now taking bookings for the 2025 matchmaking season - so if you know someone in need of a little romantic intervention, find Lani and Monty at table 2 at the reception.

Switched Off Ceremony

Adrian and Danielle's wedding day is incredibly special to them, and they’re grateful to have their loved ones join in the celebration. To create an intimate atmosphere, they kindly ask that guests switch off their phones during the ceremony and avoid phones particularly in the aisle. A team of professional photographers and videographers will capture every moment, allowing everyone to relax and fully enjoy the day as Adrian and Danielle say "I do."
