Travel tips ✈️

👟 Bring comfortable walking shoes. The hotel, wedding events, restaurants, and nearby attractions are all within walking distance, so you’ll likely be doing quite a bit of walking throughout the weekend. 👗 Dress comfortably during the day. Casual attire is perfect for daytime activities. For dinners and evening events, feel free to dress up a bit more. For the wedding, we will need to see your best outfit yet! ☀️ Be prepared for warm, humid weather. Monterrey can be quite warm and humid, especially in the spring, so lightweight and breathable clothing is recommended. 🏊 Don’t forget your swimsuit! The pool at the hotel is beautiful and will be open during your stay. We encourage both adults and children to bring swimwear and enjoy it. 💵 Bring a little cash for tips. It’s customary to tip drivers, hotel staff, and other service providers. Small bills are especially helpful. 📱 Language & Currency Tips * Spanish is the primary language spoken throughout Monterrey. Siempre es un buen momento para aprender español. ❤️ * Your phone’s translation app can be very helpful for communicating. * Most smartphone calculators have a currency conversion feature to quickly convert pesos to U.S. dollars. * Apple Pay and major credit cards are accepted at most restaurants, shops, and businesses.
