We met in astronomy class in the planetarium at Eastern Connecticut State University. Someone stole my typical seat three weeks into class, and I begrudgingly found a new one. Little did I know, I had chosen the seat next to Rob's (since he was not there yet). From there we became lab partners, then friends, and even later worked together at the Student Center. After graduation, we realized we did not want to go our separate ways, and began dating. As they say, the rest is history! To that mystery person who stole my seat back in 2012, thank you!

Picture the muggiest New England summer day you can imagine, and then turn the heat up ten more degrees. However, we had planned to celebrate Rob and his dad's birthdays with the family (outside), and there was no stopping us. In the middle of posing for some family pictures, Rob surprised me by getting down on one knee and popping the question! It was a perfect, albeit sweaty, moment!
