What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat. If you arrive after 4:00pm, please wait until cocktail hour to enter the event.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us for our big day! We kindly ask that guests arrive in cocktail attire: a balance between elegant, comfortable, fancy, and pared-back. We just want you looking your best! (boots are fine)

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
If you have received a plus one, your guest is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate children outside of our wedding party and our immediate families. We chose to hold our celebration at a more intimate venue that has limited capacity. Because of this, we hope that you can take this opportunity to have a parents night out! If you are unsure, please check the names listed on your invitation or the names listed under yours when you RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

We have compiled two delicious drinks signature to the two of us that we have taken care of! We will also have various beer to choose from on us. Anything else is on you (as well as the hangover)!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitted), while cocktail hour and the reception will take place primarily indoors. During cocktail hour you are welcome to order drinks from the bar, enjoy the light snacks provided, sign our guestbook, and explore every detail of our beautiful venue! While the main events during the reception will take place inside, guests are welcome to spend their time indoors or outdoors.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
The Country Chapel Address: 15479 Toepfer Street Tremont, IL 61568 We ask that our guests refrain from driving under the influence. In the event that you need a ride, you have permission to leave your vehicle at our venue overnight. All vehicles must be picked up by 12:00pm the following afternoon (Sunday, September 14, 2025).

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes! We will have plenty of available parking spaces at the Country Chapel as well as staff to assist us in fitting everyone comfortably.
