I believe I came into our clinic late one day and offered her half of my deli sandwich (the reason I was late 😭😭). We exchanged numbers either that day or the very next clinic we worked together, and the rest is history. Although we may not be everyday-talking friends, we are definitely “there when you need me” friends. She’s there for all of my laughs and high moments, and if called on, she will run to my aid during my low moments as well. She never misses a birthday, which—if you know me—you know is really important to me.
