A swipe on Hinge, an instant spark, and a record on repeat — that’s how our forever began. Like so many other millennials looking for something real, we met on the dating app Hinge. On January 3rd, 2022, we finally decided to meet in person, and from the very start, it felt like we’d known each other forever. We couldn’t stop talking, laughing, and soaking up every second together. Later that evening, we ended up back at Nick’s place listening to Private Space by Durand Jones & The Indications — a new record he’d picked up just before our date and asked if Krisha wanted to hear with him. (He’s a gentleman and was raised right, so no funny business, just good music!) It turned out to be the perfect soundtrack for the beginning of our love story. From that night on, our shared love for all kinds of music has been one of our favorite parts of our life together. We’ve become quite the concert couple and yes, you can bet there will be some Durand Jones & The Indications playing at the wedding! Since that day, we’ve been each other’s best friend, true love, and adventure buddy. Whether we’re exploring new places, trying every restaurant we can find, or cooking dinner and relaxing at home with our two fur babies, Panko and Kenjamin J. Kitten (Kenji), life is always better together! In May 2024, we traveled to Cancun to celebrate Krisha’s 30th birthday. The day before, during a "sunrise birthday" photoshoot, Nick got down on one knee and asked Krisha to spend forever with him. She said yes (obviously!) and the rest is history. Now we’re so excited to start our next chapter as husband and wife, exactly four years to the day we first met. We can’t wait to celebrate and party with all of you and make the happiest memories together!!
