FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Though we love your little ones, we kindly ask that they spend the weekend back home so we can celebrate with all our favorite moms and dads.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie! Guys, break out the tuxedos. Ladies, it’s springtime so festive florals and fun colors are encouraged. No need to opt for a black dress or traditional floor-length gown.

Question

Should we eat dinner before the Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes, please! We're so excited to welcome you to Narragansett on Friday with post-dinner cocktails at The Anchor Room, located on the upper level of the Coast Guard House. You'll find a variety of wonderful dinner spots nearby like Matunuck Atelier, Celeste or Sea Craft. Please see the 'EXPLORE' tab for more ideas.

Question

Is transportation provided to all events?

Answer

To the Church: No, as the church is only a short 15-minute drive and has plenty of parking. To the Reception at Shepherd's Run: No, given that there will be an hour or so break between the ceremony and reception, and we know guests will be dispersed at this time. As such, we ask that everyone meet us at Shepherd's Run for cocktail hour at 5:30 pm. *For those interested, the Shepherd's Run Winery will be open prior to cocktail hour. Guests are welcome to head over after the ceremony and order a glass of wine in the tasting room while waiting for the festivities to begin. To the After Party: Yes! We want everyone to continue the fun safely. The shuttle will run from Shepherd's Run to Audrey's (after party) and/or the Fairfield Inn at 10:30, and again at last call to take guests back to their respective hotels. Exact schedule to follow.

Question

Is there parking at all venues?

Answer

Yes! Luckily, we're just ahead of peak summer season in Narragansett, so parking should be a breeze. You will find spacious parking lots at Christ the King Church, Shepherd's Run and Audrey's Coffee House & Lounge as well as beachfront street parking and optional valet at The Anchor Room at Coast Guard House.

Question

Is it hard to get an Uber/Lyft around here?

Answer

It's not impossible, but plan accordingly! In our experience, it can take 10-20 minutes for a rideshare to get to you.
