We first met in fourth grade at Alice Shaw Elementary school, where we shared the same circle of friends. We continued to share the same friends, even as we gained new friendships. Despite being acquainted with each other, we were never very close until years later when Kayleigh was looking for a new place to call home. In 2021, we became roommates. After some fun nights on the town, and a few movie and beer nights together, we realized "okay, we're meant to be."

On my 27th birthday, Trevor threw me a beautiful birthday party with all of my closest friends and family. After hours of celebrating, the time came for cake. The lights dimmed, but rather than singing happy birthday Trevor asked his family how they felt about someone new joining the family. He dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock and forgot to say "Yes", but the tears and big hug said it for me. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
