In 2013 Lindsay took her car to Diffee where Brandon works. After a few times of seeing each other and making small talk, Brandon asked Lindsay out. Lindsay was seeing someone else though and couldn’t go. Brandon would keep asking Lindsay out every time he saw her for the next THREE YEARS. As life and time would have it, Brandon's persistence eventually paid off. Lindsay said yes, a date was planned, and they’ve been together ever since.
The weekend was booked to go to Tulsa to see the musical Les Mis, stay at the Hard Rock and just unwind for a bit. After getting into the Performing Arts Center Lindsay was busy getting situated with her purse, her drink, her playbill, her phone and Brandon said "Babe". Lindsay didn't hear him though. Brandon says he said it about 4 times before Lindsay turned around. (He said it enough times that people a few rows back knew what was going on before Lindsay did.) She (finally) turned around and he was on one knee with a gorgeous ring in hand. It may have taken her three years to agree to that first date, and another three of dating for him to decide to ask, but it only took a moment for her to say yes to spending forever together.
