Q & A

The Wedding Website of Maria Paula Ramirez and Keno Elliot Areh
Question

When is the Nigerian celebration?

Answer

The traditional Nigerian celebration will be April 11th in Houston. Then, our wedding will be April 16th in San Diego!

Question

What time does the ceremony start (in California)?

Answer

It starts at 4:30, but aim to get there at least 15 minutes early. This will give you enough time for valet parking and to enjoy the refreshments before the ceremony starts.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes “and guest”, it will be noted in the subject line. Only invited guests may attend.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love children, our wedding is exclusively for adults. Take this opportunity to leave the kids with the babysitter or the grandparents and have a fun date night/weekend!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Formal attire is requested. Think cocktail dresses, colorful suits, or elevated garden-inspired outfits. Flowing fabrics, bright colors, and subtle florals work well. Avoid wearing black and bring a light coat for evening temperatures. For outfit inspiration, here is a style guide! https://pin.it/44izriMLf

Question

Will there be an open-bar?

Answer

This will be an alcohol-free celebration, but we promise you won’t miss a thing. We kindly ask that you respect our wishes (and our venue’s policy) by not bringing in outside alcohol.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have food allergies, please note them during RSVP. We'll ensure your meal is safe and delicious, with farm-to-table catering that offers seasonal, shared plates.
