Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code will be garden party cocktail attire. It's summer in a beautiful garden! Please feel free to dress in vibrant colors to match the scenery. For the ladies, please refrain from wearing black. For the men, dress business casual (light sport coat, chinos or dress pants, dress shirt, with no tie). If you are lost with this just email me sarah.gronwaldt@gmail.com and I will send some reference photos!

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love all of your children, this will be a 21+ event!

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception are held at Morris Arboretum. The ceremony will be held in the Morris Rose Garden, and the reception will be held in an event tent near the welcome center.

Yes! Please refer to the Registry section of our website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We have the entire parking lot to ourselves. If you drive to the venue and are unable to drive back to the hotel, you may leave your car overnight. Your car must be picked up by 11AM the next day.

Is there an event timeline?

Answer

Yes! Please see the schedule section of the website. Guests are allowed to enter the grounds at 5pm, and the ceremony starts at 6pm. We will have a shuttle service going from the hotel to the venue, starting at 4:30pm.

Is there anything else I should know about the event?

Answer

We hope everyone is ready to have a great time! We have the entire arboretum grounds to ourselves the entire afternoon, so please feel free to explore and take in some of the beautiful scenery.
