An authentically restored World War II battleship, a National Historic Landmark, a museum and a memorial honoring the 11,000 North Carolinians of all branches of service who gave their lives in World War II. Visitors are encouraged to explore 9 levels of the ship, including the mess decks, berthing areas, engine room, bridge, Combat Information Center (CIC), and much more!
Located in downtown Wilmington, the mansion, carriage house, and original quarters comprise a complete site where visitors hear not only the stories of the Bellamy family, but of those who built the home on the eve of the Civil War, and those of the workers who resided on the property.
