Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code for the wedding is formal/black-tie optional. We’d love for our guests to dress to impress! Think tuxedos or dark suits for men and long gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits for women. While a tux or floor-length gown is always a great choice, a dark suit or a chic midi dress is also perfectly appropriate. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that wedding guests please arrive 30 minutes early (5 pm) to the Statehouse so you can go through security and make your way to your seats with plenty of time.

Are you registered?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, and Amazon. You can find more information on the registry page of our website.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If a plus one was included, their name will appear on your invitation and the online RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, all hosted events throughout the wedding weekend will be adults only. Thank you so much for your understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our caterer is more than happy to make accommodations for any food allergies. If you do have an allergy, please specify it when you make your dinner selection on the RSVP so we can inform the caterer promptly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The Statehouse has plenty of complimentary parking for all wedding guests, if you choose to drive. You will just need to pick up a voucher during the reception to allow you to exit the parking garage without payment. We will provide directions for the garage and Statehouse building entrance when we get closer to the event.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

We won’t be providing transportation since the venue is just a short one-block walk from the Renaissance hotel where we have the room block. For those not coming from the hotel, rideshare services are widely available and easy to find if needed. For those who prefer to drive, please see our FAQ regarding parking.
