We met at the University of Cincinnati years ago. What started as friendship in a student group grew into FitBit competitions, where Adrianne got her butt kicked every week by Cody. But he was still gracious and bought her dinner. And the rest is history!

We've been waiting to get engaged for so long because we were never in the same city, sometimes not even living in the same state. But we've been involved in each other's families so much over the years. When Adrianne's dad started getting very sick, we decided to host a fake wedding so he could be apart of the big day without needing to wait. We exchanged vows, where Cody said he couldn't see Adrianne as his girlfriend anymore, but that he wanted her as a fiancée. We were so blessed to be able to celebrate with our parents that day. And while Adrianne's dad unfortunately won't be with us on the day, we know he'll be there in spirit with us.
