FAQs

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Absolutely not! Your love, support, and the effort to be here with us is the best gift we could receive.

Question

Do I need to complete any travel forms for Punta Cana?

Answer

Yes — all guests flying to the Dominican Republic must complete a mandatory electronic entry/exit form called the e-Ticket before travel. This is required by Dominican immigration and customs, and you won’t be able to check in for your flight without it. To fill it out: • Go to the official government portal at https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/ and complete the online form with your travel details. • Once submitted, you’ll receive a QR code (save a screenshot and/or print it). This QR code confirms your e-Ticket and needs to be shown when checking in and at immigration.

Question

What’s the weather like and how should I dress?

Answer

You can expect daytime temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s, with evenings cooling to the upper 60s to low 70s. All wedding events will be semi-formal. For specific attire guidance by event, please visit the Schedule tab.

Question

How do I get to the wedding events?

Answer

Shuttles are available to take you to and from your destinations around the resort. You should receive a map upon check in along with a brief rundown of the popular locations as well as event locations. Staff are very friendly and will help you get where you need to go! **You can also access a map online here: https://www.resortsmaps.com/map-DreamsRoyalBeach-PuntaCana.html

Question

What currency is used in the Dominican Republic, and what should I bring?

Answer

The official currency of the Dominican Republic is the Dominican Peso (DOP), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted throughout Punta Cana, especially at resorts, hotels, and for excursions. Most places also accept credit cards. What we recommend bringing: • U.S. dollars for tips and small purchases • A credit card for larger purchases (ie. spa day, excursions, etc.)

Question

Where can I eat on the resort?

Answer

Madison and Kyle recommend the World Cafe (location #63 on map) for an endless buffet with tons of options and a little something for everyone. There are also several restaurants throughout the resort which are included in your all-inclusive package: • Coco Café (Coffee and snack bar) • Dolce (Coffee Shop + Ice Cream) • Fusion (Asian cuisine) • Market Cafe (Breakfast cafe) • Tres Colores (Mexican) • Mercure (French Restaurant) ***formal wear required • Pizzeria • Portofino (Italian cuisine) • Seaside Grill (Á la carte grilled fare served beach side) • Sundaez (Ice cream parlor) • That’s A Wrap (Salads, Paninis, & Sandwiches) • Tides Pool Side Grill (Burgers) (& the couple's favorite spot!!)

Question

What can I do while staying at the resort?

Answer

There is so much to do around the resort! Stay active with tennis and pickleball courts, beach volleyball, golf, aqua aerobics, dance classes, and yoga. Unwind at the spa with massages, facials, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, and detox treatments. Ready to party? Check out the nightclub at Secrets Royal Beach, located next door. Events and activities will be happening throughout the resort each day. To stay up to date, we recommend downloading the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app.

Question

Is there anything else I should bring?

Answer

A lazy river runs throughout the resort, so you might want to bring your own inflatable float if you like to lounge. Floating mats are also available to borrow at the Towel Kiosk (#58 on the resort map).
