Madison and Gavin met on April 28, 2023 while Madison was on a girls trip visiting her friend in Phoenix. They met through mutual friends at Buffalo Chip, a rodeo bar, and two-stepped the night away. Madison and Gavin had their first date that weekend at the Phoenix Art Museum. Gavin grew up going to that museum, so it was special to take Madison there for the date. On June 14, 2023, Gavin visited Madison in Minnesota and made things official. Madison and Gavin dated long-distance for just over a year, until Madison moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in August of 2024, joining Gavin before his second year of law school. While Madison and Gavin were visiting Madison’s parents over Christmas break that year, Gavin asked Madison’s Father, Mike, for his blessing to propose to Madison. Gavin proposed to Madison on Valentine’s day of 2025 in Tulsa, where they agreed to be each other’s forever.
