Question

What's the weather like in June?

Answer

Perfect timing — June in Paris is beautiful! Expect mild to warm temperatures (typically 60-75°F) with long, lovely days. Seriously, the sun sets around 10pm. We recommend bringing layers for cooler evenings and a light jacket or wrap for after dark.

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Paris has two great international airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY). Both are convenient options with easy access into the city. Pro tip: Similar to NYC, taxis from both airports to Paris have a flat rate, so you don’t have to worry about being overcharged. The rate depends on which airport you’re flying into, so we recommend looking it up ahead of time for peace of mind.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

If you’re traveling from the U.S., we recommend flying in on Friday to give yourself time to adjust, settle in, and ease into the weekend’s festivities.

Question

What is transportation like in Paris?

Answer

Paris is incredibly walkable and one of the best cities to explore on foot. There are also excellent metro and bus systems, and Ubers are widely available. We definitely encourage using your own two feet and public transportation — but Uber is always a great option when needed.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Our venue is very intimate and we will be at maximum capacity, so unfortunately only guests whose names are listed on the invitation are able to attend the ceremony and formal dinner. That said, we would be happy to welcome your partner at our welcome party and the dancing reception following the ceremony!

Question

Is everyone staying at the same hotel? Which one do you recommend?

Answer

Paris doesn’t typically offer hotel room blocks, but we’ve shared a curated list of hotel recommendations in one of our favorite neighborhoods, Le Marais (3rd arrondissement). All of the suggested hotels are within about a 10-minute walk of one another and range from higher-end to more budget-friendly options to help you plan your stay.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from events?

Answer

We won't be providing shuttles, but the good news is everything in Paris is close! We recommend using Uber or taxis for Saturday and Sunday events — nothing is more than a 20-minute drive. Paris also has excellent public transportation (metro and buses) if you're feeling adventurous.
