We met through Michael's (or Ryan's) cousin Drake playing Minecraft. We immediately hit it off sharing our love of video games together. After several months of playing games online together we met for the first time. Shortly after we started dating and have been together since 2015. Together we have shared many amazing memories over our 5 years dating including, when Michael popped the question on August 29th, 2020. We are so excited to continue our lives together and cannot wait to share a huge event in our life with all our families and friends!

On August 29th, Michael woke me up early that morning and said we were going to breakfast with friends. We both got ready and hopped in the car. I had no idea where we were going but noticed we were heading out of state towards Louisiana. As soon as we made it into Shreveport (my hometown) I knew that this was going to be a special day. We ended up at Strawn's Eatshop (my favorite restaurant in the entire world) and all of our family was there. Michael immediately popped the question and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! We had the BEST breakfast ever and left Strawn's with more than just a full stomach, but as an engaged couple!
